THE PHANTOM OF CHERNOBYL
Tuesday will mark 25 years since the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The anniversary could have been more or less unnoticed, but the fear raised by the central state of Fukushima in Japan, has led to put more attention on the consequences of that until now was the largest nuclear accident in history. No one dares to venture that will impact Fukushima, and no one can ensure the number of deaths caused by Chernobyl.

It is known that affected millions of people and seeing the aftermath will continue in the next 60 years. We reconstructed the accident of the Ukrainian central next to one of the workers who risked their lives trying to control the radioactive leak. We discuss the consequences of that radioactivity is still seeping through cracks in the sarcophagus which sealed the reactor exploded 25 years ago.

After 50 years of armed conflict, the country tries to overcome injuries by so much violence. Displaced 4 million and 5 million hectares of farmland and livestock smallholders usurped. The Colombian president, Juan Manuel Santos, recently visited our country and reaffirmed the commitment of his Government to return these lands.
